We develop the country’s leading qualifications for the swimming industry.
At Swim England, we’ve made swimming our business for almost 150 years. We know what it takes to nurture, encourage and develop swimmers and how to provide the best foundations for all learners, no matter what level they aspire to reach.
We also know how important inspirational teachers are.
Our qualifications are developed to not only share our knowledge with you but to also provide fun lesson plan ideas, motivational skills and practical experience to help you develop as professional swimming teachers and help pass on that love of swimming to your learners.

Professional Standards
Swim England Qualifications is an awarding organisation, recognised and regulated by the following independent qualification bodies in England and Wales.
The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.
Qualifications Wales is the regulator of non-degree qualifications and the qualifications system in Wales.
Swim England Qualifications is an Awarding Organisation Partner with CIMSPA (the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sports and Physical Activity) and is a founding contributor to the development of new professional standards for the swimming industry.
Swim England Qualifications is a full member of the Federation of Awarding Bodies. The Federation is the collective voice of the awarding and assessment sector.
