The Hydro

The Hydro is a Swim England Approved Training Centre with excellent facilities including an eight-lane 25m main pool, a 14mx12m activity pool with a moving floor to a depth of 4m, and a teaching pool (13mx7m).

It also boasts a fully-equipped classroom, Kenisis studio, Dance studio and a 33 station gym.

They have a rolling aquatics delivery programme which serves the professional development of internal and external learners at Brimhams Active’s five pools across the district.

They have a strong professional dedicated workforce that is integral to the success of their aquatics programme.

The Hydro offer Level 1 assistant teacher, Level 2 swimming teacher and host regional diving competitions. Blended learning is also an option.

Their aim is to work in partnership to deliver a first class service to all who choose to pursue a career in aquatics.
