In total, more than 10,000 learners have gained SEQ qualifications during a busy year for the industry.

Many of those learners have started their swim teaching journey with the SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification.

Taking the plunge with this practical, entry level course provides the skills required to assist a qualified swimming teacher.

It also serves as the perfect stepping stone in becoming a qualified swim teacher through the SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming course.

Quality is at the heart of Swim England’s qualifications. The Level 2 is endorsed by the CIMSPA Swimming Teacher Standard while learners benefit from the support, expertise and standing of the sport’s National Governing Body.

Launched this year, the Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies & Toddlers and Level 2 Coaching Open Water Swimming qualifications have proved to be popular additions.

Swim England qualifications are delivered at more than 320 locations by a network of Approved Training Centres, providing an unrivalled coverage of England and Wales.
