About Swim England Qualifications

We develop the country’s leading qualifications for the swimming industry.

At Swim England, we’ve made swimming our business for almost 150 years. We know what it takes to nurture, encourage and develop swimmers and how to provide the best foundations for all learners, no matter what level they aspire to reach.

We also know how important inspirational teachers are.

Our qualifications are developed to not only share our knowledge with you but to also provide fun lesson plan ideas, motivational skills and practical experience to help you develop as professional swimming teachers and help pass on that love of swimming to your learners.

Our qualifications aim to:

  • create a professional and diverse workforce
  • provide you with a high proportion of practical poolside experience alongside essential theory and knowledge
  • equip you with real world know-how and skills for the next stage in your career development
  • meet recognised industry standards and the needs of employers.
